Awake, awake, stand up, O Jerusalem.

Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty.

Except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.

Go, set a watchman, let him declare what he seeth.

He is most free from danger, who, even when safe, is on his guard.

He that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

Let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

Now it is high time to awake out of sleep.

Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock.
