According to the greatness of Thy power preserve Thou those that are appointed to die.

He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul; but he that despiseth His ways shall die.

The Lord killeth, and maketh alive: He bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up.

There is no god with Me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of My hand.

Unto God the Lord belong the issues from death.
